Microsoft Office 2007 Basics





Access 2007- The Database Management System in the Microsoft Office package. Smooth functioning of any business will require handling of huge amounts of data and this course intends to enable participants to manage corporate data by grasping the functions of the seven main components and also other features of Microsoft Access.

Excel 2007- Excel spreadsheet has become an industry standard, having replaced the others with its many tools for data analysis. The course will make it easier for the participants to represent data in multiple ways for the ease of management and also carry out calculations and even financial operations on the data using MS Excel.

Outlook 2007- Although Outlook is primarily a personal information manager there are other features which let you manage your work. The course will focus on the use of these features in the context of business application, including search tools, folders, junk e-mail filters, and organization tools. The course will be a detailed introduction to the major functions that Outlook supports (calendar, contacts, tasks, and e-mail).

PowerPoint 2007- PowerPoint, as a presentation program, has brought about a revolution in the domain of visual aid. This course has been designed to encourage learning from the basics, right from creating a slide to planning the ideas in a train of coherent thoughts which will help in presenting even complicated ideas comprehensively.

Word 2007 – In a sense knowledge of MS Word has become as essential as knowing how to hold a pen!
